Adrift, and Casting About
Posted by John Todd in Uncategorized on January 26th, 2010
Well, heck.
I accidentally deleted my domain, and with it, my WP database. So here I am, starting over. It’s not a big deal really. I mean, I had a couple of good collection articles that got some attention, and traffic had grown some, but this was never intended to be the blog to become the next PerezHilton.com (thank god!) This has always been a blog for me, and I’ll continue to write about things that interest me, posting family pictures here and there, the odd, funny little link, pithy quotes, uninterestong asides, and forcing my opinions on anyone unlucky enough to stumble upon (see what I did there?) my corner of the intertubes.
Now, to get this party started, here are some of my opinions, completely unsolicited and in no context whatsoever. You may thank me later.
> The best 16 bars in modern music: The bridge from Tears For Fears hit “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”. Listen to it and let it carry you away.
> I love my work. I hate going to work.
> Growing and promoting an ownership culture takes a lot more than a desire and lip service. It certainly requires one to understand what an ownership culture really is. Many people in management might say they want it, but their actions speak otherwise.
